Awarded Grants

The Michael J. Fox Foundation

The Michael J. Fox Foundation awarded Gardedam Therapeutics, in collaboration with C. Rochet Ph.D. from Purdue University, two Rapid Response grants to support the company’s small molecule therapeutic project targeting DJ-1.  The grant funds the mechanism of action and structural biology characterization of the interaction between of the company’s novel and biologically active small molecules with the DJ-1 protein.

Grant 1: Identification of Small-molecule Stabilizers of DJ-1: Biophysical and Cellular Validation

Grant 2: Determination of the 3D Structure of Biologically Active Small Molecules in Complex with DJ-1
